Students who complete thirty weeks of classes may:

Use verbs in other grammatical forms that complement the Spanish language.

Learn and use new vocabulary for informal conversations.

Learn, understand and use general and local idiomatic expressions used by Spanish speakers.

Listen, understand and discuss different topics of general interest.

Keep group discussions.

Read and understand different types of short readings in magazines, newspapers and books.

Write not very complicated compositions, using writing and grammatical rules.

Write not very long or complicated trials.

Translate Spanish short stories into their language.

Students who complete forty weeks of classes may:

Use verbs in subjective grammatical forms.

Talk with more fluency.

Use hypothetical grammatical forms.

Participate in semiformal talks. .

Read, understand and discuss different types of readings in magazines, newspapers and books.

Compose subjective and hypothetical compositions.

Write broader and more complicated tests.
